Naloxone Awareness & Training (AM or PM session)

Naloxone Awareness & Training (AM or PM session)

This free, practical training session covers everything you need to know about naloxone — a life-saving medication that reverses opioid overdose.

Whether you work in health and social care, the third sector, or support people in your community, this session gives you the skills and confidence to recognise an opioid overdose and respond effectively, including how to administer naloxone safely.

Sessions run twice on each date (morning and afternoon) to give you flexibility to attend.

By the end of this session you will be able to:

  • Recognise the signs of an opioid overdose
  • Understand how naloxone works and when to use it
  • Administer naloxone safely and confidently
  • Know what to do in the immediate aftermath of an overdose

This session is open to anyone, including people with lived experience, family members, volunteers, and professionals working across health and social care.
