This session is designed for volunteers who have already completed their interview and are now moving into their role with Wirral Ways or Nightingales Recovery CIC. Boundaries are a key part of keeping everyone safe, supported and respected, so this training helps you feel confident about how to navigate them in real situations.
We will cover what healthy boundaries look like in a volunteering setting, why they matter, and how they protect both you and the people you support. The session also walks through common scenarios, communication tips, and what to do if you ever feel unsure about a situation.
You will learn how boundaries link to our policies and safeguarding responsibilities, and where to go for guidance or support if you need it. It is an interactive, practical session that gives you the tools to volunteer safely, professionally and with clarity.
By the end, you will feel comfortable applying boundaries in a compassionate and consistent way. We are here to support you every step of the way.
