Alcohol Team
Specialist support for people looking to reduce or stop their alcohol use. They offer personalised plans, harm reduction advice and ongoing support to help people make positive, sustainable changes.
Assessment & Entry into Service (EiS) Team
The first people you will meet when joining Wirral Ways. They listen, understand what you need, and help you begin your recovery plan.
Admin Teams
Keeping everything running smoothly with appointments, systems and service-wide support. They are often the first point of contact and help make sure people get to the right place at the right time.
Community Integration & Criminal Justice Team
Specialist support for people involved in the criminal justice system. They work closely with probation, courts and prisons to help people make positive changes.
Counselling Team
Providing confidential, one to one therapeutic support. They help people explore emotions, experiences and behaviours in a safe space, supporting emotional wellbeing alongside recovery.
Employment & Training Team
Supporting people to move into work, training and volunteering. They offer practical help with CVs, interviews and confidence, alongside ongoing support to help people settle and stay in employment.
Groups & BRICTeam
Leading a wide range of group sessions that build confidence, connection and new skills. They create safe spaces to learn, share and move forward together.
Health & Wellbeing Team
Helping you focus on your physical and mental wellbeing, including activities, workshops and one to one support.
Health Care Team
Supporting clinical pathways such as Hep C testing, vaccinations and health checks. They help you stay well throughout your recovery journey.
Housing Team
Supporting people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. They help you access safe, stable accommodation and keep you connected with the right services.
Non-Opiates Team
Supporting people who want to make changes to their use of substances other than opiates. They provide personalised, non-judgemental support focused on reducing harm and building long-term change.
Nursing, Medical & Clinical Team
Overseeing prescribed medication, detox pathways and clinical safety. They work closely with you to reduce harm, manage withdrawal and protect your health.
Opiate Teams
Providing structured support and medication for people who use opiates. They help you stay safe, reduce risks and move towards the goals that matter to you.
Outreach Teams
Meeting people where they are, including in the community and on the streets. They offer harm reduction, practical support and a route into services for those who may not yet be ready to engage in structured treatment.
RISE Team
Offering ongoing support as people build confidence, independence and a meaningful life in recovery. They link you with groups, opportunities and community networks.
Think Family Team
Supporting parents, partners and families who are affected by someone else’s substance use. They help everyone find their own path forward together.
Volunteering Team
Bringing lived experience and community spirit into everything we do. Volunteers help us reach more people, celebrate progress and build a stronger recovery community.
Front of House Team
Welcoming everyone into our buildings with a friendly face. They guide you through sign-ins and appointments and make sure you always feel at home.
Employment & Training Support
Helping people into real jobs that match their skills and interests while offering ongoing support both at work and beyond.
Marketing & Communication Team
Sharing information about our services and celebrating recovery stories. They help ensure people know where to find support when they need it.
Training & Learning Team
Giving staff, partners and volunteers the confidence and skills they need to provide excellent support. They create training that is practical, engaging and built around real needs.
