This spring and summer, Wirral Ways is offering a full programme of free, professional training – and we want you to be part of it.
Our training is open to anyone working in or alongside the sector: health and social care professionals, community organisations, volunteers, and anyone who may encounter people affected by drugs or alcohol in their work. Sessions are delivered by experienced professionals using real, local case studies. You’ll leave with practical tools, resources, and the confidence to make a difference.
Every session is completely free. All courses take place at our Price Street Hub in Birkenhead.
Want training for your whole team?
We can tailor any of our sessions to your organisation’s specific needs and deliver them at a location that works for you – whether that’s one of our hubs, online, or at your own site.
Naloxone Training!
Naloxone saves lives. And knowing how to use it could make you the difference between life and death for someone in your community.
Our sessions cover everything you need to know: how to recognise an overdose, how to respond, and how to administer Naloxone confidently. You’ll leave with the knowledge, the skills, and a Naloxone kit to take away with you.
We have four sessions across two dates coming up:
📅 7 May
Morning session: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Afternoon session: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
📅 9 July
Morning session: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Afternoon session: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
